finally has an engine that can power an Ocean Pro 31 !!!
The New D6-310 Diesel that comes with a
DP-H Outdrive. Incredible power for carrying 12 passengers
and parasailing. "While parasailing I have not had to
go over 2600 RPM to fly, even with a heavy tandem in -0-
winds." quoted by Captain Traber.
This new style of engine is easy on the Hydraulic Systems.
Top speed at 3600 rpm is 40 mph. Cruise speed at 3200 rpm
is 35 mph.
The Average fuel burn while parasailing is 3.5 gallons per
hours.
