28' Parasail Boat
The boat is not a Premium or a CWS. Length over all (not including the swim platform) is 28' 6", beam is 10'6". The hull has a deeper vee then a Premium (by about 3") and much more flair than a premium. The boat has a nice comfortable *dry* ride even in rough seas, much
better then a Premium. The flight deck is similar to a Premium, large chutes inflate easily.
Much nicer ride the a Premium and faster and more fuel efficient..
Burns less then 5 gallons per hour at 2600 RPM with 6 passengers
on board.
Specifics:
Built in 2007, engine and out drive new in June 2007, built to USCG
inspected boat standards, with forward crash well etc. No wood at all
in boat, the whole top side, transom, bulkheads and stringers are
cored
with Coosa foam. Hull is solid fiberglass. All thu hulls (except
those
on the flight deck) are bronze with valves. Fresh bottom paint
ablative
type. Starboard and aluminum swim platform. Hull is gel coated yellow.
Not USCG inspected for more then 6 passengers.
Engine: Volvo D6 310hp diesel with current extended commercial
warranty,
new June 2007, currently 1500 hours. New Alternator, Aug '09
Out Drive: Volvo DPH 1500 hours, New props August 2009.
Top side: Aluminum arch and white panted tow point (similar to
Premium
but not a big). Tow point is made of 2" Schedule 80 pipe bolted
through
deck with a stainless steal backing plate that is attached to the
stringers with stainless steal flat bars. Cockpit is deeper then
Premium or CWS. White cushion seats in fair/ok condition. Two hatches
forward with room to store at least 5 chutes. Engine hatch is large
enough to allow the D6 to be removed easily. There are some small
cosmetic flaws topside (from bubbles under the gel coat) these are
easily fixed.
Fuel Tank: Aluminum 95 gal. Large Racor 20/20 size fuel filter.
Electronics: Blue seas breaker panel, main breaker, and main power
switch. Icom 504 VHF, JBL Marine stereo -"black box" flash memory
with
(2) 8" arch mounted Bazooka Tube speakers and 2 6.5" Pyle marine
speakers mounted under the seats, 2 1/2" Humming Bird depth
finder, salt
water wash down, 2000gph Rule UL listed bilge pump.
Hydraulic System/Winch: Custom Chutes Winch, Tank, Piston pump
(new Aug.
'09), and controls, with 800gph cooling pump. New clutch Aug '09.
800'
7/16" Yale cordage, 1 month old.
No trailer.
Includes spare parts: spare hydraulic pump (delta Q piston pump)*new,
hardened level wind bar and paw *new, plus other parts.
Everything installed on the boat is in working order except the Fire
Bouy fire suppression system that is only partly installed.
